General description

Cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience, among other disciplines of cognitive science, are closely related to medical sciences and clinical implications of cognitive science. Many of the psychiatric disorders have accompanying cognitive symptoms that might even constitute one of the major symptom domains of these disorders. Considering the large impact of cognitive symptoms on functional outcome of the patients with psychiatric disorders, study of neuro-cognition has become one of hot topics of research in the field of psychiatry and mental health.

Neuro-cognition Research Group aims to find clinical implications for the new findings and local adaptation for the newly developed interventions of the field of improvement of cognitive functions in the patients with cognitive disorders.
